How to Photograph Your Dog

How to Photograph Your Dog

Sally is unbelievably hard to photograph first of all she has all the black fur which unless you have good lighting blends into a shadow. And when she is sitting or lying in an ideal position she will get up and move towards me as soon as I get down to her level with my camera. Today by accident I found a solution:

I had to collect some medication from the chemists and Sally came with me she sits outside waiting for me to return and although her expressions are very alert (because she wonders were I have and am I going to return) I realised that through the glass door she couldn’t see me and I was able to snap away while I was waiting for my prescription. Not only did I take loads but another shopper got his camera phone out.

Last Snow to fall in Yardley Wood

With the threat of Global Warming I have this mission to photograph the last snow to fall where I live in Yardley Wood, Birmingham. So this time last year I took this photograph, of course it wasn’t the the last snow to fall but you never know and the project continues
