Then There Was One

182-365 year2 Then There Was One

Just over a month ago we had 3 dogs Tillie had never enjoyed the best of health and the vet suggested we keep an eye on her and if her well being suffered it would be best to have her put to sleep, we helped her along for another about 4 years. Two weeks ago Sally my collie dog had a series of strokes and we made that painful decision to take her to the vets, she was one of those unique animals that seem to have that little bit of extra intelligence that enables them to do things out of the ordinary, one of her many party tricks was never going over the line onto a cricket or football playing area while a game was in progress (I always said that the £30 I spent on dog training lessons was the best money I ever spent) indeed, when she was young she would sit on the boundary edge while I played, but as she got older she realised that there was always spectators willing to give her a stroke and sometimes a little piece of there picnic sandwich if she made her way round to the pavilion.

So here I am with just one dog. While 3 dogs was a little excessive I do find it strange only having Bonnie so perhaps in time another one will come along.
