General Election 2010

When I wake in the morning I have no idea what my 365 will feature, today was a rare day. On arrival at the polling station I asked the ladies who administered the voting procedure if I could take a photo in the school gym and although my plan was for nothing controversial they had no idea what the implications of taking a shot are to make sure no one got into trouble I took this photo in the privacy of the booth.

As I explained why I wanted to capture a moment one of ladies told me I had taken a photo of her son(s) last year. Remember

We had an artistic get together down at Maureen Toomeys studio in Earlswood. Being an artist can be very solitary so it’s good to get together with other artists, share ideas in techniques, sales and exhibition opportunities.
