Towards The End Of The Project

Towards The End Of The Project

Its been a difficult day for taking photographs and as I get near to the end of the year I reflect on how many days have been like that: not many, far from it. However, I am finding it harder to find fresh subjects were as in the early days of the 365 I had so much to choose from. For example when I went to the Hamsters gig last night I took very few photos because I already had so many from last year and because of the limitations of the venues stage access points I thought whats the point of more shots up Slims nose. I look with envy at the work from those who travel into the city every day which must throw up opportunities of photographing the many people they see, that’s a downside of working from home because I could easily stay in doors all day.

Although on the plus side the 365 has forced me to look and find and along with my dogs go outside and now go further a field and in so doing I have produced some work that I would not have found or even considered and on the days when it has been difficult to get inspiration I have come up with some very pleasing results.
