I have visited Stoneleigh Abbey on many occasions (in fact a week ago) but there has never been a match on, I know it was a beautiful sunshine and blue sky day but isn’t this one of the best places to watch cricket complete with Stoneleigh Abbey backing onto the ground no wonder it was voted by Wisden Cricketer the most beautiful ground in England in 2003
