| The park used to be very busy on any Bank Holiday with rowing boats, a chip and put golf course, and the best swings and roundabouts. Now all that’s left is the swings and gone are the days of queuing for an hour for a boat or canoe, the golf course closed 20 years ago and is now I nice walk past the overgrown greens, bunkers and trees that have fallen across the fairways. Its still a very popular spot and even 9:30 at night there was lots of people walking dogs |
