Walking past the old the baths I popped my head in and asked if I could take a photo, its very quiet now because the students from the nearby Aston University are on holiday. After Monday it will be even quieter because the building closes for a 12 month refurbishment

Half Day Closing

Traditionally Wednesday has been the half day closing day in Birmingham, but the local butchers have changed their opening hours anyway to confirm with modern living. Because most people work shifts over a 7 day week and no longer conform to 9 to 5 Monday to Friday working hours I notice that the local shops either open for a long day (7am to 10pm) or just open in the mornings.
