John has waited 34 Years for this moment. 34 years ago his cricket team Seesay from Yorkshire reached the National Village Knock Out Final but unfortunately a week before the final at Lords he injured his back and couldn’t play, today his team beat Fillongley (Warwickshire) so this once in a life time occasion is there again in 4 weeks time. To put this into perspective Lords is the home of cricket so its like a weekend amateur baseball player going with his team to Yankee Stadium. Incidentally its Johns birthday too |
