When ever I see large buildings covered to protect the builders from the elements I always think of some of the modern art projects were huge monuments and buildings have been covered in cloth in the name of art. |
On a serious note! Friends returned home after a Sunday outing and found they couldn’t get into their road because of fire engines, their house like this one was gutted, the insurance company and the builders did a remarkable job but gone for ever are personal items that we all treasure such as photographs that record a history of the family and since then I have been racing to scan and catalogue all my old film photos. |

We took Steph to the supermarket just to hear the bleep sound at the tills, Steph is my partner’s daughter, she is special needs and blind, despite her disabilities she is always happy providing we put the right music CD on (it drives us insane because it’s generally the same Boyzone album over and over again). While girls of 22 are generally hard to please Steph gets a real buzz from very simple activities like being driven over bumpy roads, going shopping naturally, and while in the supermarket she loves to hear the staff announcements over the tannoys, and best of all, the bleep sound at the checkouts. In this pic Steph has been pushed to side of the checkout and is entertained by the bleeps while we go and wait in the queue, (I think Care Bear likes it too) |
