Not The Photo I Intended For Today

Walking along the canal I found a scene that epitomises everything good about this time of the year, but when I opened the image on my computer I found that by mistake I had focused on a overhanging tree branch in the middle foreground which then put the rest of the content out of focus, it looked ok on my small camera screen. I didn’t find out until after midnight and I therefore had to sort through other photographs from the day.

This Time Last Year:

Cocksmoor Golf Course, Kings Heath Birmingham

Taken about 20 yards away from today’s subject I poked my camera through the fence to take this shot, when my son was a young teenager he used to carry his clubs along the canal and jump through the fence and join on the 4th hole, or he would pay for 9 holes and go round and round until it was dark. If he wasn’t at school I knew were to find him, today the fence is more substantial but there are a few gaps.
