On St Georges day I was hoping to find some evidence of celebration of our national patron saint but apart from a few flags scattered around on buildings and attached to cars. I don’t think St George is worried too much he is after all patron of Aragon, Catalonia, England, Ethiopia, Greece, Lithuania, Palestine, Portugal, Russia and Georgia naturally |

Sculpture Mark Tilley opens the cooled kiln that was fired up two days ago, normally it can be opened a day later but Mark had a busy day yesterday. The suspense was enormous and I don’t know how he managed to wait. The result was excellent with the ceramic tiles making the 2 dimensional piece. |
