Tuesday Night is quiz night at the Bulls Head, apart from the main quiz at the end of the evening there is one final question and the answer is always a number. To enter you pay £1 per go, Pete the quizmaster ask one question and the answer is always a number you write your answer to the question on one half of a raffle ticket and hand it in, the person who guesses correctly takes the total pot or shares the prize money if there are more winners. If there are no winners the person with the nearest answer wins £25 (or again this is shared if there is more than one) and the rest rolls over to the next week. So just before Pete asked the question I thought if we win, it will make a great photo so here it is we guessed 87 (thousand) and the right answer was 89 (thousand) so our half share “nearest to the correct answer” winnings will buy us a round of drinks next week. |

I was photographing an example of architecture from a bygone age, Barford Primary School, Birmingham. Many of the old school buildings in Birmingham would be built around the 1920s or 30s, look at the amount detail in the tower yet it possible has no role or reason to be attached to the building |
