Claudia Borgna Residency at The Rea Garden

This evening I made it along to the first and one of many preview events for the two month residency at The Rea Garden in Digbeth, Birmingham by the international artist Claudia Borgna.

The local arts blog “More Canals Than Venice” has illustrated perfectly the venue the artist and the event

More often than not an arts preview or for that matter any arts event in Birmingham is generally on a Thursday, which is impossible for me to attend so I was particularly pleased to go along, it’s a nice way to start the weekend too

I was photographing the floor of a West Midlands Travel bus garage and turning that into an art piece.

    The top photograph is spooky. It reminds me of a Victorian fake spiritual photograph - the white shapes look like souls made from cotton wool.
