| My laptop failed to read my external hard drive and then when I tried the drive on my tower that wouldn’t read the hard drive either, after a little panic I managed to retrieve the situation. All my data is backed up (and backups of backup) but because I have large external drives I tend to drag all the files on block onto the HD and this duplicates and that creates another problem: which file is the current or latest version? So today I have decided to delete the duplicates and organise the file structure into a manageable backup system. I am nowhere near finished so its going to be an ongoing job when I have a spare minute here and there. |
