I can’t remember the last time we had a white Christmas, and I really don’t want one this year because I have far too much driving, delivering, visiting and shopping to do before the big day and the last thing I want is grid locked roads frozen car doors and the slush when it thaws. |
The snow although expected arrived very sudden, one minute we had blue skys and sunshine and then a quick dramatic change to heavy thick snow. I left home at midday (in sunshine) and didn’t return to my house before midnight so although I wasn’t far away I couldn’t record a photograph for my series “The Last Snow In Yardley Wood” and include it as my 365 photo too. |
With the threat of Global Warming I have this mission to photograph the last snow to fall where I live in Yardley Wood, Birmingham so every time it snows I must take a photo because that might be it. With the cold weather we are forecast over the weekend I knew that the snow at home would remain so there was no quick dash to get a picture |
