A few months ago my Tamron Zoom lens began to jam while I was taking photos and my Canon EOS 350 was not responding like it should or used to. Eventually the camera gave up. A friend who used to work in the retail camera industry suggested that the problem was the battery, the 350 is now 5 years old and he reckoned the battery was no longer holding the charge and there wasn’t enough life in the battery to power all the required mechanisms and functions. So I get on the www to buy a replacement only for that order to get delayed in the UK postal strike, eventually on Saturday it arrived, but then I discovered the battery charger was the root of my problems. This time it arrived within a few days. I tested the macro functionality on the lens and camera and to my financial relief everything is working fine. |
