Its perhaps one of the most difficult locations to convey on a single photograph the aqueduct takes the canal over the river Cole and the road. The road ends at a T junction just after it passes under the aqueduct and then further up the road rises to the same level as the canal and crosses the canal via a draw bridge, so it’s a cross roads in more ways than one. It is difficult to photograph because each component is very ordinary and there isn’t a good vantage point to capture everything. |
