For about 2 seasons my cricket performances have taken a dive I put it down to poor timing that comes with old age. I couldn’t understand why when I hit the cricket ball it hardly moved. At the end of the season I decided to do some maintenance to my bat including repair what I thought would be a few chips (all on the edges) and replace the tape that was protecting the surface. When I took the tape off I found out that it was only the tape that was holding the splintered wood together. Now even if you know nothing about cricket you will know that this isn’t good but on the other hand those that do know me will know I’m not that good anyway |
