| I was dressed smart for a meeting at 2:30 but on my way I got a puncture and to make matters worse before leaving the house I had a shower, I just knew with the afternoon sun beating down that I wasn’t prepared to change a wheel, I know formula 1 teams change a full set in 8 seconds but they don’t have wheels that get stuck and wedged on, by the time I had finished I had to go back home have another shower and change into some dry clothes. |
| So whats this got to do with the World Cup? While I was changing the wheel I could hear the game from the TVs in all the surrounding homes and the cheers from everyone when England scored. Bring on the Germans and the penalty shoot outs. |

| It was another hot day and I spent some time in my dads English Country Garden, giving him a hand with applying weed killer on the paths, I took some macro photos of flowers and then I looked up at the oak tree that dominates the view to the back of the houses. I remembered climbing up the tree and finding birds nests when I was younger. |
