The Framers Workshop With No Room To Swing A Cat

Preparing some photos for arts fairs over Christmas I went along to Allaways Picture Gallery to source the photo mounts. Its quite unique. With no room to swing a cat, its covered in art from watercolours by hobbyists at £20 a time (that’s including the frame) to priceless framed autographed sports shirts. The workshop has many tools that must have taken years to assemble loads of frame pieces, mount card and endless finished framed

BlogDumps

I’m joining in the BlogDumps Top Site Tuesday fun thing, Blog dumps is great way to network and promote your blog with fellow bloggers and each week they organise a task (its not that harsh but it’s the best way I can think of to describe it) and this Tuesday

This week we have to blog about two things well technically I already (1: today’s photo 2: I have introduced you to BlogDumps) but I will expand a bit more and gain some Brownie Points.

Why I do the Photo a Day Everyday or 365 Project

The Photo A Day Everyday is an attempt by me to find a new arts project to work on. I started on 1st January this year and here we are with just a month to go and I don’t know what it’s achieved in total, I must fully analyse the outcomes before I think do I go forward into 2010. In short: It has made me take a photograph often and I liken it to having a dog, even if its raining you have to take it for a walk (so it forces you to keep fit), so even if I don’t feel in the mood I have to make the effort. Therefore I keep my photo skills and techniques sharp and keep my photo eye alert while looking for the shot.
