A group of artists and musicians in Shrewsbury organise the event Platform. It happens every first Thursday of each month in the upstairs (the Loft) room at the Old Post Office in Shrewsbury. Theres a mixture of live music and art from everyone present projected on the screen. I think its an excellent initiative and I have wanted to support it for some time, this month I made it and I am so glad because we had an excellent evening of live music from Rue Royale a husband and wife duo. I found this really good video on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goCUSFqoRV4

At the end of the evening I tried to drive away from the venue but found myself in a maze of narrow roads, the Old Post Office is located in the old part of the walled town and because only one car can pass, the whole area comprises of one way streets. My SatNav kept sending me round and round in circles. Normally when it sticks like this you would ignore the SatNav and go the wrong way and when it picks up a new signal from the satellite you would be directed from there but because of the one way system I couldn’t get out of the loop because I would have to go up a one way street, eventually I got out but not before I took a few pictures. Incredibilly I have two identical copies of this scene one taken before midnight (and therefore qualifying as photo number 274) and another at 12:40am
